With COVID-19 forcing a large scale pivot to a digitally-centered economy, Campaign US reached out for us to share our perspectives on how direct to consumer brands and CPG brands — like our client Equator Coffees — can quickly pivot into the grocery delivery space.
“In the past, CPG brands thrived on people spending time in supermarkets, browsing for new products,” said Mike Janiak, co-founder and ECD of digital design and e-commerce agency Pattern. “Who in their right mind wants to be browsing in a supermarket right now? You’ve got to wear a mask, there are other people around, the aisles are one-way. You want to get out of the store as fast as possible.”
