When Sovryn approached us, they had a brand that resonated strongly with Bitcoin “maximalists,” a small portion of the population who are totally bought into that specific cryptocurrency and its ideals. But the brand wasn’t reflecting what Sovryn truly believes: that sovereignty is for everyone, everywhere. To reach the average person, they needed to start speaking in a more inclusive way, a way that reflects their broader vision. With this in mind, we focused on copywriting that transformed the way Sovryn speaks about their platform so that their message resonates with a wider audience.

Visually, we wanted to keep the brand bold, revolutionary, and optimistic. We achieved this through the use of vibrant colors, with orange hinting at Sovryn’s Bitcoin roots. For typography, we selected Druk Standard Bold for its powerful and fearless look. For illustrations, we opted for an AI-driven approach, training Dall-E to generate evocative & expansive imagery in a digitally painted style that was both futuristic and optimistic to evoke a sense of hope for the future. With a few tweaks to the logo, we were able to keep the strong, superhero-esque triangle shape while elevating it to look more grown up.

By the end of this engagement, we delivered a new logo, visual assets, website, and brand book that make Sovryn’s mission and vision crystal clear and more accessible for all. We’re most proud of the way we were able to create an identity that evolves Sovryn from a mere “brand” to a flag-bearing nation state.
